Moschino has launched a new collection called "M05CH1N0 JEANS," which draws inspiration from denim culture, history, and heritage. The collection will include women's ready-to-wear and accessories and is a modern interpretation of the 1986 MOSCHINO JEANS line created by the founder, Franco Moschino. The first collection will be released in Pre-Fall 2023, and it will embody the classic spirit of jean culture by incorporating defining denim characteristics using current methods of design and production. The collection pays homage to Moschino's signature brand values of tongue-in-cheek irony and cultural symbols as artistic commentary. The collection will feature unique designs such as stone-washed, patchwork, frayed, and clean stitching on non-traditional textiles, representing the House's rebellion through craftsmanship. The M05CH1N0 JEANS line uses Moschino's heritage of trompe l'oeil visual effects and a designer vs. industrial approach to redefine the definition of "jean," a clothing cornerstone that has made its way into rock n roll, sports, runway, and museum halls of fame. The M05CH1N0 JEANS Look is a tribute to the history of denim, from traditional European roots to American pop culture, transforming uniform workwear into a symbol of rebellion, reinvention, and retrospection. The collection features a range of items, including womenswear and accessories, made from true denim, chambray, cotton, jersey, velour, and leather. Each silhouette pays tribute to a classic Moschino House design with a characteristic jean twist, and all M05CH1N0 JEANS items will feature custom rivets and arcuate.
